Thistle Macro - Crappy Photo!

I was trying to get a macro shot of a thistle in bloom.
This one didn't turn out!

Not only is it out of focus ... but (maybe it's just my imagination?) it almost seems as if this delicate thistle is flipping me off!!

All in all, it is a CRAPPY PHOTO!

He was cornered by the cats, who were following him, trying to play.
I chased away the cats, and watched as he headed straight for the safety of the rocks.
He didn't want to stick around long enough for a decent picture - go figure!
